Gilt titles to red and brown morocco labels. Minor to moderate shelf wear to boards and hinges. Bindings tight and secure. Sharp corners Spines rather unblemished. Marble pastedowns, endpapers, and text block edges in fine condition. No bookplates or ownership markings of any kind. Not ex-library. Title pages rather foxed from frontis engravings, otherwise an excellent copy internally. A sound and very pleasing set, the text quite smooth and clean. Heavier than a typical book of this size.
