A fascinating read. Imagine, the Revolutionary War was just winding down when this volume was printed. Most notable in this volume is a letter from Thomas Paine reviewing Abbe Reynal's Revolutionary War publications, a few battle notes with dead listed, as well as a near little blurb about the burial and monument of Maj John Andre at Westminster. Contains stories, poetry, births, marriages, deaths, promotions, bankrupts, etc. as well as some biographies; illustrated with plates of various heraldic seats and houses, some literary scenes, and portraits, as well as an added.
