Reason to believe that only two copies are held in North American libraries. Contemporary full paneled calf binding shows light wear. New spine, now strong and tight. Portrait frontispiece with a text block with light foxing / browning throughout. One leaf has a small loss to the bottom corner. In very good overall condition. New to our inventory. The Right Reverend, Dr. Ezekiel Hopkins, Late Lord Bishop of London-Derry, was an Anglican divine in the Church of Ireland, who was Bishop of Derry from 1681 to 1690. His written legacy includes his ‘Expositions of the Ten Commandments,’ which remains in print in the modern era.
